Assos Speed Club: Connecting Cyclists Worldwide Through Shared Journeys
The Assos Speed Club is more than just a cycling group; it’s a global movement that unites riders from diverse backgrounds, all bound by a shared love for the sport. This international community thrives on the joy of collective riding experiences, where the spirit of cycling is celebrated across borders, creating unforgettable moments.
One such event unfolded in the sun-drenched town of Encinitas, California. Members of the Legion LA, Miami Blazers, and ATX Outlaws came together with local shop riders and friends of Almsthre for a ride through the coastal foothills of San Diego.
The Ride
The day kicked off at Queen Stage Coffee, where cyclists gathered for pastries and coffee, setting the stage for the day’s adventure. The group embarked on a 43-mile ride, with 3,018 feet in elevation gain. The route started at Cadence Encinitas, through the rolling hills through Rancho Santa Fe and back to the coast.
Following the ride, participants reconvened to relax and share stories over beers and sandwiches, reflecting on the day.
