When my granddad passed away
I was left with his camera bag. In it were two film cameras, two lenses, some gun ammo, and a few rolls of film. This is one of his lenses — a 50mm prime Minolta from the late ’70s on my Nikon Z8.
Manual focus, manual aperture, and no stabilization. I recently disassembled and cleaned all the glass elements, with some minor scuffing that you only really notice when a lot of light hits the lens.

Not the sharpest lens, even at f/5.6, but that’s not the intention when using a lens like this. The soft film look and buttery smooth focus fall-off pair well with the capabilities of modern cameras.
