Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography
Prior to this visit I had not been to the Birch Aquarium since I was in grade school. I think I remember my Mom bringing a group of kids in her white Volvo station wagon down there as part of a class field trip. Going to the aquarium and then down to the tide pools in La Jolla. Some 20 years later it was nice to bring my girlfriend down to enjoy the Scripps Institution of Oceanography facilities.
